Anyone may contribute to the Auckland Town Hall Organ project by becoming an "Organ Donor"

As an Organ Donor, you or your nominee can adopt a pipe and receive a handsome limited edition certificate, signed by the Mayor of Auckland City. If you wish, you will also be recorded as an organ donor in a handsomely bound record.

We have grouped the organ's 5291 pipes into choruses that reflect their tonal characteristics (see Different Sounds).  You can choose to adopt one pipe to receive a single certificate, or a pipe from each chorus to receive a complete family of certificates. There are only a limited number of adoption certificates, which in time will become collector's items.

Adopt a Pipe donations are tax-deductible. The Auckland Town Hall Organ Trust is registered as a Charity with the New Zealand Charities Commission (CC30369).

Major Donors

Should you wish to contribute in a more significant way, we have special packages available for the adoption of whole stops, or the façade (the pipes that can be seen from the Great Hall) or parts of it. Please contact us or one of the Auckland Town Hall Organ Trustees for more information.
